After it has been off for a a few hours it starts up but then shuts off right afterward. It does this every morning or when i get out of work, it has already been off for a few hours at that point. The only way to keep the car on after i turn the switch is to very quickly accelerate it and keep it accelerated for a few minutes. The engine temperature needs to get halfway up before the car can actually stay on without a problem, any less than half and it can shut off or not even move unless i accelerate it. When i start it up it doesn't move like it should on DRIVE without having to accelerate it, when i do accelerate it it jumps off after it builds up some acceleration. After the car is on an driven around it drives just fine. After being on for some time it can be turned on without a problem as long as too much time hasn't already passed. I thought it might be one of the coils but i already checked that with a computer and it came out fine. The computer didn't give me any codes. I'm very confused as to what it might be.

Its because its a ford get a holden they run soooooooooooo nice and never have promblems

possibly the coolant temp sensor.... it may not b sending the correct info to computer until vehicle is warmed up... basically comp will shut off or run in "limp" mode if its not getting any signal from the sensor....
