We atched out 3 baby chicks in an incubator 3 days ago. One wasnt walking at all and we thought she mightve broken a leg. The other two were walking fine. After a while they knew where the water was and it seemed they were eating. This morning, we found the two hens of the 3 lying on their sides barely breathing, only twitching. My dad said its because they may have not eaten. When they 'went' it was all liquid, is that bad? I want to know so we can prevent this with the baby rooster. He was seperated from them just in case but now he keeps crying and trying to get out of the cage we put him in. I'm sad to say we put them in a shoe box and they died about half an hour ago
