...stalled? it runs fine then idles down then a little high up and down then stalls whats next cap rotor and wires??
so far i changed fuel pump,fuel filter and plugs the tank inside looks clean but that probably don't mean anything when i took the cap off i sanded the points and the rotor i took sand paper to before i did all that it wouldn't even start

you are on track, change the dist. cap, rotor, wires, and plugs.... also, if it is cold out when it is doing this then it could be normal. my 88 chevy starts up rough in the cold and "blubbs" until it warms up some... good luck
