okay i absolutely love my arab gelding, and he acts completely not like an arab most of the time. Last show i went to, i did my in hand classes and took my tack to ride around in, because on the 9th of may were going to try some ridden. now he rides in a loose ring snaffle, yet is normally quite strong anyway,
but ridding around the show ground it was like an entirely different horse. He then decided to live up to the chestnut arab reputation :/ We had a good fair few canters around but he just wasn't calming down, ask him to trot and i had no control, and he was just bombing off in canter. Once we was back home, hes seems to be getting stronger, but he remembers who he is at home.
I don't know whether to just chance it, and give it ago, hes not dangerous with it, hes just overly strong, and the worst that could happen is he makes a fool of us and i fall off lol. someone told me to try him in a different bit as he is quite strong and heavy in my hands. but i don't know.
Hes only recently getting stronger, as hes getting fitter, he was quite fat and plod like when i first got him, and now hes getting fitter hes getting stronger.
