my ares is not connecting to proxy?

Okay, i have Ares..and it hasnt conncected for over a year. my brothers lap tops not working so i have to start using ares again for music.
the problem is it wont connect to any proxy server ive tried..
i need an Ip proxy code..does anyone have one?
