My Bestfriend is friends with the guy I like!!?

So my bestfriend and I have been bestfriends since birth..24 years!! She met a guy about 7 months ago and they became good friends. I met him about 2 months ago and we hit it off right away! He asked me out on a date..we slept together..conversed 24/7!! Turns out he isn't over his ex and he pushed me away..more like gave me a huge shove away! He told my bestfriend that he doesnt want to see me..so now everytime he is around my friend wont let me come around. Also, when my bestfriend and I are together and he calls her she won't pick up b/c I am there. I am soo hurt by all of this..I really liked this guy and things were going so well. Then a big bang and I didn't do a single thing wrong. I told him that I understand what he is going through (been there done that) That we can just take it slow and just be "friends." But, he told me that he has enough friends that he doesn't need anymore. Thats how harsh he was!!! I am soo hurt and everytime my bestfriend is with him I get even more upset..Is it wrong for my bestfriend to be still hanging out with him knowing what he has done and said to me?? What should I do? Why is this guy acting the way he is towards me too?? I am so confused!!!
