...what can I do to improve them? We are college students, 20 years old. I knew from the beginning of our relationship that he is the guy I am going to marry. I've always wanted a big family (4 or 5 kids), but now I am facing a reality that I never thought was possible -- and my dream of a big family is shattered. We are truly in love,"that" perfect couple everyone envy's, yet adores at the same time. We used to talk about our future kids and how cute they are going to be. After he told me the bad news this past weekend, although I can't get it out of my head, I didn't second guess our relationship for a second. Having him is worth the world to me, but I just don't know what I am going to do without these goofy little mini us's running around. Anyway, I am a virgin and am waiting until marriage -- I don't know if that helps or not -- hopefully God rewards me. I'm turning to prayer for now, but what else can I do NOW to improve our chances, (if we get married) after our marriage, to get pregnant. Also, who do I turn to about this? My mom? I don't know who to turn to -- and how to approach the situation. (Please keep us in your prayers as well as all other infertile couples out there)

To the other person that answered, I don't see what being an atheist has to do with anything, other then you look at the world with your eyes closed.

But, my answer for you, would be to ask your Dr. the next time you go in, or schedule an appt just to see what your options are when the time comes for having children. There are more ways then just the one to have a family. You're not even married yet, and I know it's the last thing you want to hear sweetie, but get a ring on your finger before you start planning a nursery out in your head. I'm only 21 but I do know that much... even though I daydream too. GL when you need it!
