is it genetic? he has no memories of his dad abusing (physically and verbally) his mom but it's common knowledge in his family. he was only 1 yrs old when they split. He has gotten way too physical with me when he is drunk. Doesn't remember the next day. I'm afraid it's going to get worse over time.
He has a half-brother (same mom) who doesn't abuse women in a physical or verbal way (he lies and uses them for $) but doesn't seem at all violent or beligerent as his brother does. It only seems to be my bf - and he is his fathers only son so i have no other siblings to compare him to.
