He hates holidays because of his past. He never really celebrated them when he was younger because he was orphaned and on the streets for a while. He hasn't celebrated his birthday in years. Valentine's Day is coming up and he asked me if he had to get me something. I'm thinking "YES!" but at the same time i understand that he hates holidays...What do I do?!
