I have a 2005 Nissan Altima. I have to press my brake pedal all the way to the floor to stop my car. I am used to it and its not a problem for me, but I wanna know if my brakes are bad, or I just need to add brake fluid. My brakes don't squeak or make noise at all.

If the pedal is going to the floor, you could have a bad master cylinder. This is a huge safety concern. Make sure you have enough fluid in the master cylinder, press your brake pedal and if it slowly falls to the floor you have a problem. It could be a leak in the braking system, or a bad master cylinder. Get is checked out ASAP!

Check your fluid level. If it is full, your master cylinder may be on it's last legs. Have a friend or mechanic check for you.
