ok i drive a 1994 pontiac grand am gt 3.1 v6 and it acts like it wont go when accelerating from a stop the rpm's will go up to about 1500 but it just wont go, but if you start out in second it drives just fine unless you have to stop then you will have to manually shift it into second gear and then put it in drive once you get going. and also the brakes aren't dragging because if you try to go from a stop on an incline the car will roll but not accelerate. i am good with cars but not used to having anything this new as i prefer older cars any advice you could give would be a big help and thank you for your time
