My car keeps overheating.. (continued)?

I have a 1997 Ford Taurus. My car keeps overheating. We just replaced the thermametor and it still overheats. When it overheats, it smokes and antifreeze spills out.. like alot. We always refill it with antifreeze. We've looked at it and can't figure it out and are too broke to take it to a mechanic. What could be wrong!??!?! So stressful.
 
You buy an American made car (Ford) and now you wonder why you have problems!! You should have thought about that before you bought it and bought a Toyota instead. Sorry I can't help you
