My cat sprays every now and again.......?

I took both my cats and got them spayed. One of them every so often likes to spray my dirty clothes. I thought that once they were fixed this does not happen anymore. What is going on?
My cats got spayed at 1 year of age and they are litter box trained very well. That is not a problem at all

the older the cat, the longer it takes for the "spray" feelings to go away. it's just telling all other cats that you belong to it, isn't that unconditional love?

More then likely she started spraying before she was fixed and if they start before, its not easy to break! Thats why you should always get them fixed well before they would start spraying. My motto is, once they start, they never stop! Keep stuff off the floor so she will not be inticed.
