my cat's eye is all boogery and if i wipe it off with a wet paper...

...towel,it just comes back.? what do i do about it?the cat rubs it eye alot and i fear the cat is or may get infected.what do i do?

Your cat may be suffering from some form of allergy or conjunctivitus (infection). I'd say it's time to go to a vet. You can try flushing to with a saline solution (just like for contact lenses) for a day or so, but if the cat is rubbing it you can be assured that it is feeling discomfort. I think you are at a point where prescription meds are in order.

Most of the time when a cat's eyes goop up like that they have an Upper respiratory infection. It's something a vet can give you meds for.
