My cat's poop can clear a room, literally!!!?

How can I deodorize? It literally is the worst smell I have ever encountered, and it can wake me up from a deep sleep!!! She is only a few months old, and I got her from the Denver Dumb Friends League. She didn't seem to smell, until she was off of her medication. Is it food? I have been trying to feed her her kitten food from the Legaue, but she eats wet food, and my elder cats food, as well as dog food! How can I stop this nasty smell! Reply quick, she just layed one down....GAG!
 
I went through the same problem with my kitten.
For the first several months he also had a rather loose stool, and the Vet could find nothing wrong with him.
I fed him with Innova EVO, so I thought it couldn't be the food because it is the best available around here.
After another month or so, I decided that maybe the food was just too rich, so I switched him to California Natural and now everything is just fine.
Still stinks, but maybe half as much and the loose stool is gone.
