Device status is: Windows can not start hardware device because its configuration information ( in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (code 19)

Optical Drives are actually..peripherals..that are Plug&Play..
===
If you Shut-down your PC..and pull the AC-cord from the rear of the PC..
..wait about 1-minute before opening the Side Cover--
===
Once inside the PC-Tower(case)..be sure there are NO LED's lit/
..pull the wires from the rear of the Optical Drive..
Place the case Cover back in place..and re-plug the AC-cord..
Hit the Pwr. Button and get to your Desktop..
..allow the PC..to fully load..
..and Shut-Down..once more..
===
Once again..pull the AC-cord from the rear of the PC..
..wait 1-minute..
Open the CASE-cover..be sure that NO LED's are lit../
Re-Plug..the Optical Drive..close the case-cover once more..re-plug the rear AC-cord..and RESTART the PC..
This should reload the Plug&Play Drivers for Optical Drives in Windows[tm]OS's/
===
Be very careful when pulling the Flat-data-Cables..they can be broken from the long connector/plastic part..
===
Maybe you have already ruined the Flat-data-Cable...because you have pulled it so many times..I THINK..you would have noticed that..
===
If that does not help..just buy a new Optical Drive.

uninstall it in device manager and restart the computer and let windows find the drivers for it automatically.
