My chinchilla fell into a vent.?

I just got my chinchilla a couple days ago its pretty young. Any ways while during play time He found his way in to a loose vent and fell in. He is safe for the time being, but i want him OUT ASAP. How can I get him out
 
Take a bucket of gasoline and dump it in the vent, then take a match and BURN THE FUCKER OUT.
 
Oh no! :(

1) try scooping him out with a net on a long pole. put food in the net.
2) call someone who works with vents or a vet
3) shine a flashlight up where you are and see if he'll come to it after a while
4) throw something down into the vent with him (like a light bouncy ball.) he might get scared and run out...make sure it's really light though so it won't hurt him if it hits him!

If you can stick something in there he can climb up, then bribe him with raisins, most chins will do anything for a raisin. Limit his amount to three though. Good Luck.
