My clock in my car says 'code'?

I have a Mazda Astina and the clock display is flashing 'code' and the radio and cd won't work until a code is entered. I rang my local mazda dealer and asked them. I was told to enter the last four numbers of my VIN. But my car has numbers 1-6 and my VIN only has one number within 1-6. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
 
Try using the clock set buttons to enter the last four digits. Go up and down until you get to the right digits, just like setting the clock (or setting your alarm clock).

Or forget about calling the dealer and just bring it in and make them do it.
