My computer doesn't recognize the usb cord connected to my LG VU , help?

Most of the time when I connect something to the computer a pop up will show. Or if that doesn't show I'll go to "My Computer" and double-click on the drive. But absolutely nothing shows when I connect my usb cable.

-Its not just a charging usb cable. I"ve checked.
-I've tried bitpim and the LGUSBModem driver. (I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled them twice to make sure. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?) Bitpim didn't find my device...
-I've switched to mass storage, music sync, and data device.
-I got a 4g MicroSd.
-I've ran device manager and clicked "scan for hardware changes" as well on the usb root hubs.

What am I doing wrong?
 
Hi, how you doing. I looked into your problem, and it seems you are missing the Sync software that came with that phone, to make it work with your computer. Below is a link to a website where someone posted having the same problem as you, and an answer was already found, displaying where they can obtain sync software for the phone and get it connected with the usb cable.
