my computer getting restarted as soon as UI comes.?

after inserting a pen drive comp got restarted and now whenever i start it as soon as UI comes the system restarts. when i am installing windows again through cd it get shutdown inbetween. i connected my hard drive to another comp and after formatting it i istalled the win xp prof. it worked fine thier. now when i connect to my comp the hard drive the same problem continue i dont understand its hardware problem or an virus problem. please help me

It is not a virus problem, the problem is in your hardware. Try to remove you pen drive it start your computer again. if the problem persist the problem is maybe you video card or memory, try to another video card first and if its not work, try another memory... Hope it will help you. Hood luck!
