my dad for the first time grounded me...FOR 2WEEKS!?!?

um, well see my dad and i have a pretty darn good relationship. he isnt the kinda guy that would freak out if i do something wrong or like get REAL bad grades.

anyways i came home late[and i have came home late before MANY OF TIMES] and he grounded me
..
and i was only like 30mins late..he said that i didnt show him respect and he was saying the meanest nastiest things ever..
he said that i no longer had a good relationship with him..
AND BASICALLY I STOOD THERE LIKE WOW. just appalled and shocked....
can you believe that a down to earth kinda nice guy that all of a sudden grounds his daughter for two weeks and everything..
i can take this..
im on my first week now..
and its ridiculous im da kind of gurl tht goes out alot wit friends..
and next week i have alot of big events coming up..
how can he ground me like this..

this is seriously unusual!!! im flipping out right now cuz i just can bleve it ...why da heck is this happening!!?!?!?!?! ughh!!! help please..and i alredy tried apologizing and everything and nothing is working..its JUST GREAT im really upset sitting in my room right now...
 
You sound like a spoiled brat with a serious chip on her shoulder. Your father sets clear boundries for you - ie setting a time for you to be home at.
You sya you were late home, and you have been late home a lot on different occasions, thus showing your father absolutely no respect. I doubt this is about the being late home thing at all. He's probably sick of you treating him like dirt.
he is your father. You should respect him. If he says be home at 10pm, you should be home at 10pm.

Your the kinda gal that likes going out with her friends?
Maybe you should be the kinda gal that cops herself on, stop acting like a princess and accept your punishment like a mature teenager.
If you want your father to treat you like an adult, grow up and act like one.
 
Try asking him
Maybe he is about to get laid off or not happy with his job.
My advise to you is for the next few weeks just follow the rules and don't get him upset
 
talk to him tell him how you feel or you can ask him why he had this change:)) hope i helped:))
