I bought 2 small Datnoid fish from the fish store the other day. when I was looking at them at the fish store, they looked like they didn't have much attention towards them. meaning they were fed a little bit and looked skinny. i also noticed 1 was hiding on the top corner because the other one was chasing it.
there was only 2 left so I thought I'd get both of them.
they were in my 100gallon fish tank and the same one hides while the other one is just normal. but when the little guy comes down from hiding, the other one just chases it back to the top again. they don't do well together during feeding time either. one will still chase the other to the top.
I've separated both of them for now in different tanks. the scared one is in the 100gal and the other one is in a 15gal.
the one in the 100gallon is doing fine and acting normal now. my question is what should I do now when I want both of them to stay together?
