My daughter asked me a question I have no answer for!

I agree that some of the ryu ha we cannot trace, but are you seriously saying that the art we now call ninpo have no history. Are you saying that schools such as Fuma ryu, Hatori ryu, Koga Ryu, Happo Juppo Ryu, etc did not exist.

We have very good evidence for the art of Ninjutsu/Ninpo existing. Or is all the history by Hatsumi and Tanemura a fabrication.

Try reading from page 171 of Essence of Ninjutsu, or Stephen Turnbulls book on the ninja or Tanemuras Ninpo Secrets.

Well to be honest it doesnt matter what you call it. If I changed the name MCMAP to GRDFS would it be a new art, or the same art under a different name.

I think you need to look at who started that thread.

And I think you mean Toda if your going to be really accurate.

Anyway conversation over.

Yep quite right Toda Sensei not Takamatsu Sensei.

Sorry you didnt like our discussion.

guess this means Ive won,

It looks like arguing with ninjerers on a forum is a martial art after all.

Martial arts = Imposing ones will over another.

The way of the martial artist is the way of enduring, surviving and prevailing over all that would destroy him. More than delivering strikes and slashes, and deeper in significance than the simple outwitting of an enemy, Ninpo is the way of attaining that which we need while making the world a better place.

The skill of the Ninja is the art of winning."
