My dog has BAD seperation anxiety even when im in the next room she will

start to cry and whine. what do i do? she is a 11 week old border collie/ australian shephard mix. i will go into our hallway which i blocked off with a baby gate and she can see me through it but she will start to just cry cry cry and whine and scratch at the gate. what should i do? i have had puppies before but none of them had it this bad. it was usually when i went to work not when im still in the house.
 
My puppy would bark for up to 5 hours if I left him alone, when I first got him.

The vet told me to let him bark and not reward the behavior by going to him while he was barking.

Instead, I let him bark and only went back in when he was quiet.

He now no longer does that as much, but it took a while.
 
Let her cry she needs to learn to be happy for what she's got. Not to be cruel or anything.
