My dog is not eating or drinking anything and he is dry heaving, what is wrong

with him? My dog is usually pretty hyper and wants a lot of attention. Since this morning he keeps trying to throw up but nothing will come up and he will not drink or eat anything. He seperates himself from me and my roomate. He is not being his normal self and I am really worried about him!

This is not an life and death situation but it may become one it sounds liek he has an obstruction in his throat either open his mouth and if you can see it reach in and remove it if not go to your vet now
