My dog Gizmo takes phenobarb and potassium bromide twice a day for his seizures. I give him his pills in Pill Pockets, which is he loves and I think are probably better than cheese. He takes his second dose at 7PM, and an hour before that he usually starts whining for his treat. Now that we've had a time change, he is driving me nuts every night starting at 5PM, whimpering and whining. I can't change the time of his pill, so I've been giving him a piece of empty Pill Pocket to tide him over, but they are expensive. What can I do to get him back on schedule?
