Im 16. My grandma owns a white 1996 dodge dakota slt lwb 3.9. My grandpa bought it new and drove it as his plumbing truck till the day he had his heart attack 5 years ago. Now it just sits there at the plumbing store under the pole barn, and is just drove once in a while maybe once a week by my uncles workers, or by my uncle to be used for work feed cattle, pull trailer. It's not the prettiest truck its never been washed, or vacuumed. Interior has a tear in the seat, and a lot of dirt in the floor. the top of the cab has a rust spot on it, broken tail light. I had this dream 2 weeks ago that i was driving it. Im guessing it was a sign from the spirit of my grandpa that he wants me to have his truck and this would be his Christmas present for me. So today i asked my grandma if i could have the truck, so i can fix up the truck. Paint the rust, clean it. she said when she dies i can have it, but it will be worn out by that time, and it wouldn't look right when she dies i just grab the truck and my uncle doesn't have much to do with me, and my parents just when my grandma forces us to be together for Christmas. my uncle inherited the business, and 60 acres of land with cattle, is the executer of her will, and my dad is the older brother, just my dad might inherit something, just isn't her "FAVORITE son". She owns it, pays tags, insurance, on it, and just my uncles workers, or him can drive it. how can i convince her? I don't want to sound greedy, or pushy, because she is already giving me a 700 dollar set of tires for Christmas for my 82 dodge power ram. if she gave it to me id want to make it look like new so i could make her proud. clean it up, replace taillight remove cab rust spot on top etc. HELP
