I don't know what to do now. My dreams have been getting worse. I fell asleep reading and there was something in my dream that truly scared me. I have never been so afraid in my life. I had a dream that I was in my house. I live in a house up in the mountains. It's pretty isolated and I live alone so no one really comes around. But in my dream I'm in my house. I'm making soup on my stove. It's nighttime outside and out where I live it's pitch black. But while I'm cooking I hear something, it's faint, but it's there. I turn of the stove and listen harder. Then I hear it again. It sounds like voices. I hear voices outside of my house. And the voices sound happy like they're laughing. The only problem is the nearest house is 5 miles away. There shouldn't be anybody near my house. I run to my room to grab my rifle when the voices begin to change. Now they are much louder as if they are in my head. They're echoing all around me. They're no longer laughing; they're screaming. They're screams of anguish. It sounds like people being killed outside my house. Flinching from the deafening noises I grab the rifle and open my bedroom door. Now the voices are screaming in my ears. They're right next to me. I yell from the pain and suddenly they stop. The voices are gone. There's a ringing in my ears from them but I can think again. I get up to investigate what had just happened. Looking out the windows I don't see anything, no lights, no people, nothing. I don't have any outside lights so I grab my spotlight from my bedroom. I switch it on and shine it into the woods. I don't see anything apart from the trees on the east side of the house. Nothing is on the South or West side. But the one door into my house is on the North side. I walk towards it slowly, all the while a strange feeling growing inside me. I have this eerie feeling that someone or something is watching me from that door. The lights inside my house prevent me from seeing outside this door without my light. The hairs on the back of my neck start to stand up and my skin starts to feel cold. I hold the light to the window and turn it on. There, 10 front of me, is a large, grotesque, monstrous looking creature. It has a body that reminds me of a wolf without fur. It's skin looks wet and it's black all over. It's massive head turns towards me and I see it's face. It's face appears to be a skull. It's has blood stains on its white head. It's eyes are blood red and seem to burn like fire. It's jagged teeth are easily 5 inches long. And I can smell it. Even from inside my house I can smell it. It smells of rotting flesh, it smells dead. All over it there is flesh that looks dead and decaying and blood begins to ooze from these decaying gashes. It looks right at me and I freeze. I can't feel anything as I look at it. And suddenly the creature's abdomen begins to glow. It's glowing like embers. Suddenly the creature bursts into flames. It doesn't shift its gaze from me as its entire body is ablaze. And it begins to fall apart. Charred pieces fall to the ground as it falls apart before my eyes. The flames get very bright and I look away. And just as fast they dim again and I look back. The creature is gone and there is only a pile of ash where it stood, with just a few glowing bits left. That's when I woke up. I didn't pay much attention to it as my dreams typically are the same and aren't as disturbing. But this one was different. I was driving (outside my dream), on my way to the town to get a few supplies when it happened. I looked towards my left and I saw the creature from my dream in the trees. I slammed on the brakes as I squeezed my eyes shut. I opened them again and it was gone. I told no one about this in town because they'd think I was insane or something. I didn't see it again but I saw other dreams of mine. I saw the train platform from my dream with the light post on the side of the road. I saw the tree with the bird on it. I kept seeing these images. My dreams have always been like the ones I described before and I can only remember a few of the dreams I've ever had. I don't think they mean anything. I've never seen this dream before. But please, if you have any insight as to what is happening it would be helpful. My dreams are seeming more and more real by the day and I'm starting to see my dreams in the real world. Please help!
