my dsl light on my bell aliant modem keeps flashing an disconnects me every 5-10

mins from my xbox whats wrong? my dsl light on my bell aliant modem stays on for about 5-10 mins then it turns off then back on when it does come back on its to late and i am lagged out of my match it also affects my laptop and i have to restart it so what is wrong? my xbox 360 is hooked up using a Ethernet cable and my laptop is wireless and i am 85% sure it is not my router cause it is working fine i think it is my bell aliant modem with the flashing and somtimes on dsl light please help!!!!!!
 
You probably need to forward ports on your router for the xbox and maybe check mtu setting on the router as well.
 
Call tech support

Your issue is that your modem isnt training properly to the Aliant network.

Most likely an issue with either the lines or something else shorting/grounding out.

Call 611 if you have Bell Aliant home phone and they will hopefully be able to get to fixed up.

P.S. I know the thread is old but I figure if anyone else stumbles upon this then it might help.
