My dvd burner just burned 5 movies & now I am trying to burn a cd and it wont work?

It keeps popping out with some error message. The cds work so what can bve the problem? Especially bc I just burned 5 dvds?

what does the error message say?
what software are you using?
Is it a data CD/Music/Other
