I haven't had any problems until this evening with the dvd rom. I've been opening/closing it to insert discs. This evening, it just stopped responding, wouldn't open, etc. I've restarted the computer and right when the windows logo pops up, it makes a noise and I can open it by the button at that moment but after the computer fully starts, nothing. Won't open manually, by eject button, nothing. Please help? There's power going to it, but when I press the button to open it, it just flashes a yellow light.
I did the probe or pin hole with a paperclip and it opened it. Is that good?
Also, when I click on Device Manager, there are no yellow exclamation marks beside DVD/CD-ROM drive tab. It says that all of the drivers are up to date for it.
