I've had her since the end of July 2010, and she was maybe a month old when I got her. So I've had her for half a year now. And she's always ate fine, and she's never had any sort of problems. She's a very well tempered hamster, and she loves to be held. I've given her 3 different types of hamster food. (All from Petsmart) The first was Nutriphase, and she only ate maybe 5 different kinds of seeds in it. So after she finished that bag, I switched to Fiesta Max and Extreme Trail Mix - for hamsters, gerbils, rats and mice. And she's not as picky with those. And she loves the stuff in the trail mix. She always went crazy for the sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. But now she wont touch her food. The only kind she'll eat is, I think they're Goji berries. I'm not sure, they're brown and oval shaped, maybe the size of a small walnut, and then theres a little seed inside that looks kind of like a peanut. That's the only kind she'll eat. And so I give her like a piece of carrot or a piece of apple or something about everyday. And she grabs on to that and starts to eat it like she hasn't eaten in days. And I'm scared she isn't eating, the food in her food dish never even looks touched. When normally I'd have to refill it after a day-day and a half. And I haven't needed to in 1/2 a week to a week. (I do change the food in it though in case she just didn't want any that was in there. But that doesn't seem to be the problem..)
I'm really worried about her, she's the sweetest little thing.
Is there anything I can do for her? Should I take her to the vet? I don't really know if changing the brand of food would help or not, because she used to love it. And all the brands have basically the same stuff.
