My ex friend is spreading bad rumors?

She used to be my best friend. Well. Atleast I thought so. We would go shopping with our other friends and to the beach and eachothers houses. We told secrets. Some I regret telling her. So, in school. She's been telling everyone my secrets.. but she twisted them around. Like for example; I dated these two guys both named Reece. And she told everyone including them I was dating them at the same time and lost my viginity to Reece P. Which is a lie. I didnt cheat on them. I dated Reece A first. And I didnt lose my virginity to him. It was to my other ex boyfriend. And I'm tryna tell everyone it isnt true. But she keeps coming up with new ones. I dont get why she would turn all of a sudden. It started by her not talking to me for a week after we hung out at the beach. The only people believing me is my friends. And some other people.

I had a best friends like this too,she's been also spreading gossips around the school ,but her 'rumors' were more innocent.Anyways,i know this bothers you and it's really uncomfortable.You should talk to her,i did that with my friend.I told her i want to meet with her,and we talked.I explained to her that i feel really uncomfortable and i don't like when i hear lies about me.I apologized to her for whatever i did,and i asked to just drop this stupid revenge plan.She really understood me,and told me that she was a little jealous over me and my new bff,and she never meant to hurt me in any way.You should confront her,face to face and just ask her what is her problem.If the problem persists then tell all of your close friends(and the people that matter) to stop listening to her,because she;s spreading lies and you don't feel good knowing that they might believe her.Just don't act like her,low-class,act more mature and elegant.She'll probably get bored,if everything fails.
