Screams of horror filled our little house in the woods. My brother screamed for my to get out, but I couldn't. It was like my feet were glued to the ground where my mothers dead body laid. The thing stood over her eating and rubbing himself in her guts and blood. Landon finally got me to go to the window were I was supposed to climb out right away. Out side bodies were everywhere guts, limbs and bones were scattered around them. I let out a muffled scream as Landon's hand covered my mouth, it reeked of blood and the scent of the monster eating my mother and the rest of the town. He helped me onto the roof then went down first, when I jumped he caught me bridal style and set me down in a pile of guts that he didn't see was there.
