My friend called me and told me that he's gay?

My best friend called me early this morning and told me that he have something to tell me. I kept asking him what was up and he took a long pause then told me that he's gay. The thing is he doesn't know that i'm gay also because I've hid it from him in fear of losing my friendship with him. I need some fast answers because I'm about to go visit him. He thinks I hate him now and want nothing to do with him. Anyway.... what would be the best way to tell him that i'm gay also?
