work, fuse? or more complicated? thkyou? I worked on cars for about a year doing general maintenance and I'm 21 years old, so obviously I only know the tip of the iceberg. I installed my own car radio and currently helped my friend put in speaker(s) in his 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. He's had electrical problems on the passenger side (window switch, tweeter, & main speaker). Do I need to check his fuses, or is this more complicated than I realize?
-Thank you for your responses
minus question mark on "thkyou", I'm new to yahoo answers/questions
"want to know" response: Yeah I was surprised too that all the stock wiring worked fine (except for the passenger door area) and even after adding a new speaker to the driver side. We even correctly wired a new speaker on the passenger side and it still did not produce any sound. I need to hunt my friend down and check those fuses.
Thanks for the input!

fuse checking is easiest so that is what i would do. followed by wiring connections and proper location of positive and negative terminals.this is assuming all components worked before additional wiring.
