My friend's computer is messed up, when he goes on the internet it says

untitled...more info? He had a virus attack with trojans, he scaned with avg, now his internet stopped working, when he starts up his computer it takes a long time, any ideas? remeber he can't go on the internet... it says untitled.... he called his internet company.. and he said they were retarded, they said "it was probably your virus attack, get a new computer."

I would go to the library, and post as much that he can on some computer help website like computerhope or bleepingcomputer.

Or go to a friend's computer, download spybot search and destroy (maybe to a disk or something). Try installing in safe mode (turn off the internet). Run the program. Remove whatever it says to.

The company is right. I'm pretty sure he had a lot more viruses than a few Trojans. There are some that steal your info. and then brick up your computer. Which means that you are basically screwed. Because nothing will work at its original speed. With these other viruses, people can access your stuff and hack into it. Once you know you're hacked or bugged you can't fix it. So i recommend your friend get a new computer and put on some protection. There is one thing you can get and it will protect you from those viruses. Its called avast! Antivirus. It works very well.
