My girlfriend hates PDA.. please help?

My girlfriend doesn't like PDA at all. Anytime I try to hold her hand in public, she swats my hand away and says, "Don't." Yesterday, we were at the mall and I tried kissing her on the cheek and she told me to "stop embarrassing her." We're in college. It's not like I go overboard with PDA. The only thing she lets me do in public is walk close to her. I feel like I'm not good enough for her. What do I do?
 
Just talk to her about it, sit her down one night when you're both relaxed and in a good mood.. that way she probably won't get defensive about it. It may not be anything to do with you, I was very much like her myself and I wouldn't hug my boyfriend or anything in front of someone, but he talked to me about it and like you he felt like he wasn't good enough for me.. and I told him why I found it difficult, after a while we made little steps until I was completely comfortable. So yeah, just talk to her and be understanding :)

Do not make it sound like you're criticising or questioning her though, be gentle about it.
 
Maybey she has social anxiety like me. thats how I am with relationships, and it ruined them. So just PLEASE don't think of anytihng to bad of it. Try to talk to her about it and stuff.
