My hyundai accent wont turn on do i need a new battery?

Well my car runs fine when its on I can drive it point a to point b.
If I turn the car off and take out the keys it wont start again when im leaving. all the lights come on but it struggles with two small noises to turn on and it wont.
So if i come back to my car in say half an hour i can usually start it in second gear.
Does it sound like i need a new battery or something else

Sounds like you need a new car.

it doesn't need a new battery if the lights come on, it might be the starter, but that's probably not right.
