Hi, I have a Hyundai Tiburon 2001 automatic transmission. My car won't start. it looks like the starter (bendix) does not grip on the torque converter to start the car. It has a grind, scratching sound and it eat's up both the teeth’s. They both are original parts. I tried to turn the engine buy hand and still nothing. I live in Aruba and no mechanic know what the problem is. they say buy a new starter (done that) buy a new transmission or a new engine.
