hey, if you could help me fix this that'd be awesome, I'm using a laptop and its wireless, obviously. Now I used to have epically fast internet, and firefox made things even faster. since I had to reformat my hard drive, thanks to a virus, I have not had the same performance. updating the wireless card driver tends to make connecting impossible, for a couple of days the connection was bearable, now its gotten so slow, it literally took 15 minutes to load a 30 second youtube video yesterday. Im now using My PS3 to do most of my web browsing.
Im with virgin media, i wonder if they are capping every ones service in the UK right now. what im asking is, do you know how i can find out my internet speed and settings, and any freeware that detects all this and optimizes this accordingly? any help would be greatly appreciated. =)
