As the plane landed in Manila where the funeral took place, Jean felt herself becoming more and more anxious. The memories rushed back throughout her mind. She remembered seeing her grandfather clutching his chest because all the pain he felt. Jean remembered being so overly emotional at his funeral that she physically shut down. It became hard for her to breathe, so she took the closest barf bag and slowly inhaled and exhaled deeply. She snapped out of her trance and found herself in the plane again. She closed her eyes tight avoiding the flight attendant who kept staring.
