I live in the isle of man (a small british island) and the main service provider is a sub company owned by O2, since the unlocked version is available across in the UK. We now have the iphone, However i dropped my phone about 2 weeks ago and cracked the screen, but there was no other damage. Just about 3 days ago my phone suddenly said "no service" and kept saying this for about 10-20 then would give me full 3g service again, only to drop when i started using 3g. It would give me around 10-20 minutes using 3g or talking on the phone before dropping and saying "No service". when i turn my phone off and on again it doesn't matter if i have a sim card in or not , either way it will just say "no service". Even if i swap sim cards to another service carrier. It does not ask me to unlock the sim either. Sometimes when left alone for a long period when i return the message "iphone activated" is displayed, i have no idea why. I don't think this has anything to do with the screen or dropping it. But i doubt apple will believe me. Is there anything else i can do , or does anyone know why this is happening ?
thank you
