able to restore? my iphone 3gs 3.1.3 was stuck on the apple logo after it got rebooted. now i am not able to restore.

i tried to do it. i have done it before. but this time its just not restoring it. ive tried dfu mode. waited for an hour. no use. and now on the top of that itune is not even detectind my iphone..
