The other day it got really cold and i bent my key a little while trying to open my lock. Well it wouldn't turn in the ignition. I've went through all the possibilities, frozen ignition, locked steering wheel.. and tried almost everything from thawing it out with a hair dryer, lighter, jiggling the key and steering wheel- nothing has worked. When i put my key in you have to push down on it to get it to beep if you let go it stops beeping. My key does look a little warped. Like an idiot i don't have a copy. Is there anyway to get a copy now? Is there something wrong with key or the ignition? Please help!

Go to a Kia dealer with proof that you own the car they can cut a new key back to factory code by the VIN # that should be all you need, also take a can of WD40 and spray it into the ign lock cylinder. If this doesn't work call your local locksmith.

i don't think temperature could affect it. I have a Towncar with leather and it gets bitterly cold. I think it is because your key is worn out. Make a new one, it might help. if not call a dealer and see if they can help you get a key. The most extreme you might have to change the ignition cylinder

call aaa then have them hall it to kia dealer ship do you happen to have 10 year warranty ? you will have to go to the dealer ship to have your keys made
