My kitty doesn't like me?

One of the local vets gave me a lil' kitten 2 years ago.She's quite independent and doesn't seem to like affection [ which is fine ] Though when i'm checking e-mails or anything related to my computer she can't resist but to constantly jump up and acts then, like affection is the best thing on earth.i find this behavior interesting.What do you think?

You should start emulating your cat's behaviour so that she feels that you and her are part of the same pack as opposed to being in a master/pet relationship.

For example, the next time that your cat is checking her email, you should jump on her and be demanding of her attention: this will alert your cat to the empathetic consequences of her actions and from here you can move on to greater bonding activities such as hitting the gym together, shopping for dresses, and camping in the wilderness.

I'm convinced that my 2 yo kitten/cat wants to be human, he is always trying to get involved in what I am doing. But the other 2 cats (both rescue) don't like laps although, they do like strokes.
