When I received my laptop it was fixed and replaced with a new DC Jack. I went to plug in my power cord and it still wont charge. No lights come on letting me know its plugged in.When I received my laptop it was charged for about 2 hours. So I'm thinking I might need a new power cord or they didn't connect it correctly. I have no clue! I don't want to send it back and I'm sick of dealing with ignorant people at Best Buy. So please help! let me know if there is any where I can take it or what you think the problem is. Thxs :)

You should have sent your power pack in with it. Sometimes the fuses blow inside the power pack when the charging circuit goes bad and no they are not replicable. Call the manufacture and ask for a replacement. If that is not it then you will have to take back the computer to Best Buy. Show them and ask for a refund. If this is a laptop forget Best Buy. Unless they are a depot repair shop for the manufacturer They are not qualified to repair a Laptop. Get a refund and send it to the manufacturer.

25 years in a manufacturer's repair center taught me that the desperate will try anything to get something to work and most of the time they don't know what they are doing.

Many repair centers have a flat rate they do repairs for. If it is in warranty you should have never taken it to Best Buy. They may have voided your warranty by working on it.

I hate to say this but the problem is with the Geek Squad at Best Buy, you need to let them know what happened. Try to explain it to them.
