Pain and glory

Defeated, injured and raged came home soldier Jack
Loss of pride, loss of country and loss of prestige
The enemy routed him in the front

Depressed, broken and thrashed was his soul
Tired, aching and anguished was his body
The enemy showed him no mercy

Agonizing, suffering and embracing were the days after the defeat
BUT inspiring, sky high and uplifted were his thoughts
The enemy should get ready

doesnt feel like it ended
