My LG phone says Service required. (Alltel)?

Model AX275PK states service required. The manufacture won't replace it because they think not manufacture defect. Its 6 months old. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Customer service tried resetting phone w/ no luck. We have 2 other Alltel phones on the house and they have service.
