My LG Xenon won't let me send or recieve text messages even though I have 5 bars?

I love my LG Xenon, but out of the blue today, it wouldn't let me send or recieve text messages, or calls... I know it's not my service because it's worked for a year until today...help?

Yeah same with me, I've had an LG Xenon for like year and half and within the past few weeks, won't let me send texts or make calls. Usually I won't receive calls til hours or days later!! Ughhh big frustration, looking forward to a new iPhone in 2 weeks!!!!
